Mandan police responded to a hotel pool on Feb. 18 after receiving reports that a man was "making threatening, rude and sexual comments towards children," according to court documents.
Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Jamestown schools all received threats Thursday morning.

Latrell Jade Black was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving under suspension, and he was cited for distracted driving, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
"They lost everything they owned in the explosion and will have no place to return to when they do get released" from the hospital, according to a sister of one of the victims.
Two occupants were inside the home at the time of the explosion and were treated and transported to the hospital by ambulance for their injuries, according to the post.
It is believed alcohol was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation, according to the Highway Patrol.

The nonprofit is hoping to prevent demolition of the Bismarck-Mandan Rail Bridge so that the span may be repurposed into a walking and biking pathway between the two cities.
"Roads are ice-covered and motorists should use extreme caution," North Dakota transportation officials said in a statement.
A conservative youth movement is underway in the North Dakota House of Representatives. Next session, five Republican legislators under 25 will serve in the lower chamber.
