MOORHEAD, Minn. - Crossing the 5K finish line at 19 minutes and forty seconds, Dickinson State junior Lisa Townsend finished 16th, pacing the Blue Hawks cross country team at the Minnesota State University - Moorhead Twilight Race on Friday, Sept. 7.

Jaiden Schuette of University of Mary picked up the win with a time of 17:47.3, helping the Marauders win with a team score of 17.

Freshman Emily Kuehn placed 22nd with a time of 19:50.7 and junior Jacey Wilson followed just seconds later with a time of 19:57.7, good for 26th place. The Dickinson State women earned fourth with a combined score of 104.

Senior Rodney Henry led the Blue Hawk men, finishing 21st with a time of 23:42.4 in the 7K race. Powered by the first-place finish of Nadir Yusuf, host MSU - Moorhead took the overall win with a team score of 27. Yusuf finished in a blazing time of 22:19.3.

Dickinson State finished seventh with a score of 161 as Tristen Guillot finished 31st with a time of 24:47.7 and Ernest Franssen III followed in 34th with a time of 24:57.
