NORTH OAKS, Minn. - In the first of two meets in the state of Minnesota, the Dickinson High boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Tom Watson Mustang Invitational on Friday, Sept. 28 from the Chippewa Middle School.
The Midgets earned team placements near the middle of the pack, with the girls taking sixth in the gold division after finishing with 125 points. With 242 points, the boys claimed 10th place
Dickinson eighth-grader Sierra Raatz was the top finishing Midget, taking 15th in the individual leaderboard with a time of 22 minutes, 26.1 seconds. Crossing the finish line in 22:29.3, Midgets junior Amalia Lewis placed right behind Raatz in 16th place.
Midgets freshman Kyller Hughes clocked in the fastest time on the boys side, running the 5K in 18:32.9.‘Gold’ girls team scores:
