SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Two weeks after collecting a second-place finish at the North Dakota Class A Cross Country State meet, Dickinson High sophomore Brady Yoder continued his excellent 2018 with a strong showing at the Nike Heartland Regional Cross Country meet held on Sunday, Nov. 11, from Yankton Trail Park.

Competing against nearly 300 runners in the Championship division, Yoder captured a spot on the All-Heartland third team after taking 16th place with a personal-best time of 15 minutes, 38.1 seconds.

Yoder was the top finisher from North Dakota and according to Milesplit.com, he recorded the 13th fastest time ever from a North Dakota high school runner.

The meet overall included more than 1,800 runners from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.

With a time of 17:15, Midgets junior Aiden Jung crossed the finish line in 231st place in the Championship division while sophomore Griffin Obrigewitch took home 86th in the Rising Stars race, completing the race in 18:09.
