MINOT - One week removed from producing the highest team score in program history, the Dickinson High gymnastics team traveled to Minot to compete in the Kim Lupo Memorial Invite.
With the team mark of 144.25, the Midgets won its fourth straight meet on Friday, Feb. 1, from the Magic City Campus.
The three-time defending state champions were followed by Jamestown and Grand Forks Red River-Grand Forks Central, who placed second and third, respectively.
Winning two events during the evening, Dickinson junior Ayanna Fossum captured her third straight all-around with a score of 37.075. Bismarck High junior Kate Dillman was the runner up after producing a number of 36.575. Jamestown freshman Haley Nelson and Minot freshman Bella Price followed while Midgets senior Meghan Ackerman rounded out the top-five.
Fossum took home wins on the balance beam, with a score of 9.2, and in the floor exercise turning in a performance scored at 9.65.
