OSHKOSH, Wis. - Acacia Fossum, an alumnus of the Dickinson High gymnastics team, captured All-American honors during the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championship on Saturday, March 23, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

The Gladstone native and Richardton-Taylor High School graduate was one of five All-Americans from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, who finished third overall with a score of 190.15. It is the 10th straight season the Warhawks have finished in the top three at nationals. Led by an all-around victory from senior Candis Kowalik, The College at Brockport won the meet with a score of 191.05.

For the second time in her career, Fossum earned the All-American nod on the floor exercise as the junior tallied a mark of 9.725, placing in a tie for sixth. Her performance on the floor was the highest mark on the season in that event.

On the balance beam, Fossum took 23rd after scoring 9.4. She also earned an 8.875 on the uneven parallel bars, finishing 37th.
