The Dickinson High volleyball team got swept on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 3-0 at Jamestown. The Midgets fell behind from the very beginning in the first set and eventually lost it by a score of 25-18. The second set was the most competitive of the evening, but in heartbreaking fashion, the Midgets fell 25-23 to the Bluejays. In a critical must-win set, Dickinson never found a run to ignite a comeback. Jamestown smoked the Midgets by a score of 25-10 in the final set to clinch the match.

“We had a slow start; we were down 5-0 (in) the first set and battled back and played really well for the remainder and had a really, really good second set, and the third set, we just kinda (struggled) and Jamestown just kind of took it to us,” head coach Jon Schobinger said.
