MANDAN -- The Dickinson swimmers left the North Dakota state swimming and diving meet with some hardware and an honor for junior Jacob Anderson.
Anderson was named to the all-state swimming and diving second team finishing out the season on Saturday at the Mandan Aquatic Center.
The junior placed ninth in the consolation bracket of the 200-meter freestyle (1:51.32). He also took 12th in the 100-meter freestyle (51.19).
The other two swimmers for Dickinson that went home with top 16 places were senior Luke Schields and junior Kyle Pletan.
Schields had the highest finished for the swimmers from Dickinson with a sixth place finish in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:04.72). He also notched 10th in the 100 freestyle (50.79).

Pletan found himself in the consolation bracket in the 50 and 100-meter freestyle. The junior placed 11th in the 50 freestyle (23.67) and 14th in the 100 freestyle (51.30).
The Williston swimming and diving team as a whole placed seventh in the team scoring with 160 points. Fargo North and West Fargo tied for first place with 286. Minot rounded out the top three (284).
