FORT MYERS, Fla. — The University of North Dakota men's basketball team came up short in its bid for three straight comeback wins at the Hilton Garden Inn Florida Gulf Coast Classic on Sunday, Dec. 1.

The Hawks lost to Campbell University 58-56 in the final day of the tournament. UND dropped to 4-5 and the loss also snapped UND’s three-game win streak.

UND cut the deficit to 56-55 in the final 10 seconds but couldn’t rally for the win like it did in earlier tournament wins against Florida Gulf Coast and Georgia Southern.

Marlon Stewart led UND with 20 points. Filip Rebraca added 14 points and six rebounds and helped the Hawks score 30 of its 56 points in the paint.

UND will stay on the road with a game Friday at Montana before taking on Eastern Washington next Sunday.
