Bismarck Century head football coach Ron Wingenbach will serve in the same capacity for North Dakota’s team in the 2016 Badlands Bowl, according to an announcement made Thursday by the Badlands Bowl Committee.
Wingenbach’s Patriots won the school’s first ever Class 3A Championship in November.
Wingenbach’s staff will include two Century assistants, Rod Breitbach and Cory Volk, along with Jim Dooley, the head coach of Class 2A champion Beulah; Carrington head coach Marty Hochhalter; and John Freeman, the head coach of 9-man champion Richland.
The players selected to Team North Dakota’s roster to take on Team Montana will be selected at a later date.
The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at the Biesiot Activities Center.
