BISMARCK -- The Dickinson High volleyball team lost another close match to a West Region power on Tuesday.
A few crucial mistakes cost the Midgets the upset as Bismarck High was victorious with a 25-21, 16-25, 27-29, 25-19, 15-13 win.
"We had had two overpasses to give them two easy kills," Dickinson High coach Jay Schobinger said. "That was the obvious difference that stands out. There are little things that happened before that."
Dickinson had the Demons on the ropes after winning 29-27 to go up 2-1. However, last year's state runner-up won Game 4 and forced the fifth game where they eked out the match win.
"We're battling with some very good teams," Schobinger said. "It's a game of momentum. They stole it and took it."

Madison Deibert had 29 kills and Jess Herauf had 18 for Dickinson, which also lost a close match to West power Bismarck Century last week.
