MACOMB, Ill. — North Dakota State scored on its first play from scrimmage and rushed for 453 yards and rolled to a 56-17 victory against Western Illinois on Saturday in Missouri Valley Football Conference play at Hanson Field.

Running back TaMerik Williams rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 12 attempts to lead the Bison ground game. NDSU scored seven rushing TDS against the Leathernecks and five different players scored rushing touchdowns for the Bison.

NDSU running back TK Marshall added 118 rushing yards, including two TDs, on six carries.

WDAY's Dom Izzo and Forum reporters Jeff Kolpack and Mike McFeely broke down NDSU's road victory at Western Illinois.
