TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — North Dakota State running back TaMerik Williams rushed for a career-high 145 yards and three touchdowns to help lead the Bison to a 31-26 victory against the Indiana State Sycamores on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The Bison (5-1, 3-0 MVFC) have won three consecutive games.

NDSU trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half before rallying past the Sycamores. Bison receiver Zach Mathis had six catches for a 88 yards, including a key 10-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter that gave NDSU a 31-20 lead.

WDAY's Dom Izzo and Forum reporters Jeff Kolpack and Mike McFeely broke down NDSU's road victory against Indiana State.
