The Dickinson State cross country team on Thursday added Kalispell, Mont., native Bailey Smith to its team for the 2017 season.
Smith, who is scheduled to graduate from Glacier High School this upcoming spring, qualified for the state cross country and track meets all four years of her high school career, and was also awarded academic All-State honors four times. Her personal record in the three-mile race is 18 minutes, 24 seconds.
Smith also earned All-State honors as a member of the swim team.
