FOREST CITY, Iowa - After leading 36-34 at the half against Waldorf University (Iowa), the Dickinson State men’s basketball team outscored the home team 51-35 in the second half en route to an 87-69 victory on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Hanson Fieldhouse.
Junior guard/forward Malcohm Hill led all players with 19 points, 11 of which came in the second half.
Senior forward Melvin Collins led the Blue Hawks with eight rebounds, helping Dickinson State earn 47 boards compared to Waldorf’s 36.
Dickinson State shot 49.2 percent from the field over the entire contest, aided by an 18-for-32 effort in the latter half.
