Dickinson sophomore Brogan Burwick won the balance beam and the all-around while freshman Shalesa Wariner took the vault and placed third in the all-around to help the Midgets gymnastics team close out the regular season on a strong note.
Dickinson used a 145.650 to beat out Bismarck High (142.375) and Bismarck Century (142.075) Thursday at the Dickinson High School gymnasium.
Burwick had an all-around score of 36.475 and a winning beam score of 9.325.
"Brogan had her breakthrough meet," Dickinson coach Kent Van Ells said. "She's had kind of a rough season. This one, she was good all the way through. It's a good way to finish the regular season."
Wariner has been coming on as of late. Her winning vault score was 9.175 and she took second on the balance beam with a 9.0, finishing with an all-around score of 36.025.

Also winning an event was Kelsey Dukart, whose 9.7 secured the top spot on the floor exercise.
Van Ells said he was particularly happy with Dickinson's finish on the floor where the Midgets took four of the top five spots. They finished with an overall team score of 38.0.
"We got three 9s ... I'm pretty pleased," Van Ells said.
