Century uses trio of hitters to sweep Midgets

BISMARCK - Entering Tuesday’s match, the Bismarck Century volleyball team held the top record at 5-0 in the West Region.
Dickinson High, on the other hand, had the bottom record at 0-5.
The Patriots continued their winning ways with a sweep over Dickinson 25-17, 25-14, 25-13 during a West Region match.
Century’s Hadley Rosales, Ali Hasche and Jordyn Jossart each supplied double-digit kills. Rosales finished with 13 kills, while Hasche posted 11 kills, eight digs and one ace. Jossart had 11 kills and two digs.
Katie Scherr collected a match-high 20 digs and two aces for the Patriots (6-0 West). Kylee Clarke dished out 20 assists, while Cassidy Wilhelm had 19.
For the Midgets (0-6 West), Meryl Kovacs supplied a team-high six kills, four digs and one ace. Morgan Kainz and Lexi Jordheim each had three kills. Sarah Dobitz and Jordheim each had a team-high seven digs, while Raegan Linster posted 13 assists.
Dickinson continues its season hosting the Dickinson High Invitational, which begins on Friday.
