MAYVILLE -- The Dickinson State volleyball team won its first two sets against Mayville State on Tuesday, but the Comets battled back to win in five games.
VALLEY CITY -- The Dickinson State volleyball team led for most of the opening set against North Star Athletic Association rival Valley City State, but the Vikings took over after tying the Blue Hawks at 16 points each.
Down two sets, a 25-17 third set victory over the University of Jamestown kept Dickinson State alive just a little bit longer Tuesday night. If the Blue Hawks were to win the match, they still had a lot of work ahead of them.
