RICHLAND, Mont. - Dickinson High senior forward Kamryn Kuntz scored two goals on the road against Richland. However, in between her scores, the home team fired five into net, as the Midgets girls hockey team suffered a 7-2 loss on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from Ranger Arena.
Just six minutes into the game, Richland scored the opening goal on a shot from Whitney Van Hook.
Kuntz earned an unassisted equalizer four minutes, but from that point until 13:39 left in the second period, Richland pushed to a 6-1 lead thanks to a hat trick from Brooke Franklin.
Kuntz’ second score five minutes and 57 seconds into the frame was assisted by senior forward Grace Kraiter.
Dickinson is now 2-5 on the season and remains 2-4 against league opponents.
