Dickinson gymnastics victorious in Valley City

VALLEY CITY - With a gymnast winning three of four events, the Dickinson High gymnastics team won with a team score of 144.6 at the Valley City West Invite on Friday, Dec. 14. The Midgets narrowly defeated Bismarck Legacy, who placed second with an overall score of 137.75.

Minot gymnast Bella Price won the all-around with a combined score of 36.275, while Dickinson’s Ayanna Fossum placed second with a score of 35.875. Midgets Brinklyn Schumacher and Meghan Ackerman picked up third and fourth, respectively, in the all-around.

Fossum picked up a win in the vault with a 9.6, while placing fifth in the uneven bars.

Dickinson’s Addison Fitterer earned first in beam with a 9.2, while Dacia Rambousek was victorious on the floor with a score of 9.65.

Bismarck gymnast Kate Dillma took first in the uneven bars with an 8.85.
