Brooke Franklin scored the game’s last two goals, one in overtime, to hand the Dickinson High girls hockey team a 5-4 OT loss against Sidney (Mont.) Tuesday at West River Ice Center.
Franklin scored the game-tying goal with less than 5 minutes remaining in regulation. She also assisted on Danielle Steinly’s goal earlier in the third period to get Sidney within one.
After DHS jumped to a 1-0 lead with a Taia Klaman goal, Klaman scored two more in the second period for a hat trick and Kennedy Kuntz scored another in the second period.
The Midgets’ Breanna Chamerlain racked up 23 saves.
