DP: Where are you from and why did you choose DSU?

CG: "I'm from Los Angeles, Cali. and I ultimately came to DSU last year because it was the only option I had. Coach (Justin) Wetzel was the only coach recruiting me so this is where I ended up."

DP: What's your major?

CG: "University studies."

DP: How long have you been playing basketball?

CG: "I originally started playing around the third grade. I played all sports growing up, I played tennis growing up but I just found myself playing basketball more and more. I eventually just narrowed it down and that became my sport."

DP: What do you enjoy most about it?

CG: "Just competing. I love to compete. I'm very competitive. Also it takes you away from whatever you might have going on off the court. It's just a good getaway, get your mind off of things. Go out, have fun."

DP: What are the team goals the rest of the season?

CG: "We started off strong in conference, we've been in first pretty much the whole time, so we want to continue that. We want to finish strong and try and get the top seed for the conference tournament, so we can host a couple games. We hosted two games last year, but we'd like to host a third one this year. We came up short in the championship game last year at Bellevue, so we'd like to host it here this year."

DP: Personal goals?

CG: "Just be a leader by example. Having fun and enjoying my last ride and hopefully finish at the top."

DP: What's your favorite movie?

CG: "A lot of my friends would give me crap because I don't watch a ton of movies, but I love comedies so like Step Brothers. Anything with Will Ferrell."

DP: What's the last show you binged on Netflix?

CG: "The crazy part is I have a Netflix account but I don't really use it that often. But I think the last thing I did watch was Ozarks, that was really good. I've heard a lot of good things about Stranger Things, too, so I'll probably watch that when I get some time."

DP: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would you choose?

CG: "I like to eat almost everything. I'd probably have to say Italian food. I'm Italian so I like to eat Italian food, pasta, lasagna whatever it might be."

DP: Who has been your biggest inspiration to succeed?

CG: "Probably my parents. They've been very supportive of whatever my goals and dreams have been since day one. They always to give me the best opportunities to chase whatever I want to do."
