Dickinson State Blue Hawks football to host awards banquet tonight

The Dickinson State Blue Hawk Touchdown Club is hosting its inaugural football senior recognition and awards banquet at 5:30 p.m. today at the Ramada Grand Dakota Hotel, at 532 15th St. W.
Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The evening will begin with a social hour and silent auction, lasting until 6:30 p.m., when dinner will start and guests will be greeted by Dickinson State University President Thomas Mitzel.
Athletic Director Tim Daniel, DSU Heritage Foundation CEO Ty Orton, head football coach Pete Stanton and Richardton-Taylor-Hebron co-head football coach and former DSU football player Travis Olson are all expected to speak as well.
The team’s 10 seniors will be recognized for their contributions to the program, and a host of team honors will be awarded, including Offensive and Defensive MVPs and Scholar Baller Awards.
