BROOKINGS, S.D. - The Dickinson State men’s and women’s indoor track and field team secured six top-25 place finishes at the first day of the South Dakota State Indoor Classic Friday.
Sharlon Regales led the Blue Hawks men’s team with a 12.24-meter shot put. Jay Liggins was 14th with a 6.52-meter long jump. Logan Gumke pole vaulted 3.7 meters for 22nd.
For the women, Macy Vail and Whitney Leuenberger were both 14th in their respective events. Vail recorded a 10.63-meter shot put while Leuenberger had a 13-meter long weight throw. Amanda Wolff was 21st in the 3,000 meters by finishing in 11 minutes, 23.93 seconds.
