The Dickinson State football team announced the signing of Bismarck High linebacker Justin Bergquist on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Bergquist was a Class 3A first-team all-state selection as a senior, when he helped the Demons reach the state title game. He had 137 tackles, along with four sacks, as a senior.

The Blue Hawks women’s track and field team also announced the signing of Zoee Boschee and Savanna Walker on Tuesday.

Boschee, of Kalispell, Mont., has career-best marks of 35 feet, four inches in the triple jump and 16 feet in the long jump. Walker, from Miles City, Mont., placed third in the state in the shot put and fourth in the discus last season. She has career-best figures in the discus of 123 feet and 38 feet, 5 inches in the shot.
