FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The No. 19-ranked Dickinson State women’s basketball team scored 25 points in the final quarter, but ultimately lost, as Keiser University held onto a 70-67 win Saturday.
The Blue Hawks’ offense was fueled by MacKayla Feeney, who scored 15 points on 5 of 12 shooting and a 4 for 9 mark from the 3-point line. She also tallied a game-high five assists. Megan Klein contributed a game-high 19 rebounds to go along with her 11 points.
Only five Keiser players even scored, but Clauida Reque (18), Desirai Smith (11) and Courtney Murphy (23) combined for 52 points.
DSU’s next games are against Montana Western on Tuesday and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) College Wednesday in Billings, Mont., during the RMC Tournament.
