The results from the 2016 North Star Athletic Association Men's and Women’s Golf Preseason Coaches Poll were announced Tuesday, and both placed Dickinson State toward the back of the pack.
As voted by the coaches, the men’s team was tabbed to finish sixth out of seven schools. The women’s team was voted one better, fifth out of seven.
Bellevue led the men’s poll with 48 points and was followed by Viterbo (39), Jamestown (32), Waldorf (26), Valley City State (23), the Blue Hawks (17) and Presentation (11).
The women’s poll went in a similar order: 1. Bellevue (49 points), 2. Viterbo (38), 3. Jamestown (34), 4. Waldorf (29), 5. Dickinson State (20), 6. Valley City State (18), 7. Presentation (7).
