BILLINGS, Mont. - Dickinson State’s women’s basketball team split its two games in Montana this week, losing to Montana-Western 81-62 on Tuesday and defeating Rocky Mountain (Mont.) College 65-51 on Wednesday.
In Tuesday’s game, the Bulldogs jumped to a 15-point lead by halftime and didn’t stop pushing.
The Blue Hawks shot just 33.9 percent from the field in the loss. Montana-Western, on the other hand, had no problem putting the ball in the basket. The Bulldogs shot 41 percent from the floor, and 15 of their 28 field goals were 3-pointers.
Statistics for Wednesday’s victory were unavailable at press time.
The team returns to action at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at Johnson & Wales (Colo). in Denver.
