BISMARCK -- For the fifth time in the last six games, the Dickinson High softball team has out-muscled its opponent.
The Midgets supplied a combined 25 hits to defeat Bismarck High 15-1, 13-3 on Tuesday at Clem Kelly Fields.
Dickinson is 5-1 in its last six games and has scored double-digit runs in four of them. The Midgets are currently 8-2 overall on the season.
In the first game of the doublheader, Dickinson supplied five-run third and seventh innings and Haley Butterfield pitched a complete game, allowing one run on four hits and striking out six. The junior also helped herself out at the plate with two hits and two RBIs.
Avery Privratsky led the Midgets throughout the day, going a combined 5-for-6 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored.

Briana Farnsworth went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and scored one run. Jess Priebe and Rachel Jahner each added two hits and scored two runs. Jahner also had two RBIs.
In the second game, Midgets pitcher Madison Jahner only needed the six runs her team supplied in the first inning. From there, she threw five innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out five. She went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs.
Madi Steier made her lone hit count. She supplied her second home run of the year and finished with three RBIs and scored two runs. Mackee Hoffmann, Emilee Sickler, Priebe and Farnsworth all had one hit and scored at least one run. Hoffman, Priebe and Sickler each also had a RBI.
