WILLISTON -- In the fourth set, the Williston volleyball team held a 20-12 lead and Dickinson High was about to accomplish something they hadn't all year.

The Midgets rallied from eight points down -- late in a set -- to come away with a four-set win.

Dickinson used a solid serving performance from Keely Hutchens during the 13-1 run to close out the fourth set and take a 25-14, 19-25, 25-14, 25-21 West Region win over Williston on Thursday.

"At times, we played really really well," Dickinson head coach Jay Schobinger said. "In first and third set, everything was clicking and things were going extremely well. Second set was a little tough.

"In the fourth set, we were down 20-12. We found a way to come back and win that, which is something we really haven't done this year. We have kind let those games get away from us this year. It was nice to see the girls battle back when they were down."

Hutchens finished with 11 kills and team-high three aces. Sierra Rohr supplied 12 kills and three blocks, while Marissa Schroeder tacked on eight kills and two blocks.

Madison Schobinger posted 23 assists and three aces for the Midgets. Mackee Hoffmann collected a team-high 23 digs.

The Midgets have four matches left in the regular season before traveling to Jamestown for the three-day West Region Tournament beginning Nov. 14. Dickinson's next game is on the road against Bismarck St. Mary's at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

"We still have good teams left to play, but we don't have to play the top two teams in the conference," Jay Schobinger said. "We want to keep rolling and try to get as many conference wins in the last four games that we can."
