HELENA, Mont. - The Dickinson State men’s basketball team hit a rough patch the past month, losing seven-straight games including its home season finale to Carroll College.
But the Blue Hawks were able to end the season on a high note, defeating the Saints 86-81 in a Frontier Conference game on Friday.
DSU had five players in double digits on the night as senior guards Ty Ackelson and Brock Boos finished with 18 points each. Boos went 6 for 12 all from 3-point range while Ackelson made four of his seven 3-pointers.
Tevin Russell had 16 points and team-highs with seven assists and nine rebounds, Juston Goodwin added 15 points and junior post Mackenson Odenier had 11 points and six rebounds.
DSU finished 8-19 overall and 3-12 in the Frontier Conference.
