The Dickinson State men’s cross country team announced the signing of Hunter Flynn, a Whitehall, Mont., native this week.

Flynn was a four-time all-state cross country selection, with his highest individual finish of fourth place coming at the 2016 Class B MHSA State Cross Country Championships.

In 2016, he also placed fifth in the 1,600-meter run and sixth in the 3,200-meter run at the state track and field meet.

In addition to maintaining a 3.6 GPA at Whitehall High School, Flynn also served as class president and student council vice president. He was also named to the High Honor Roll all four years.

Flynn intends to major in political science at Dickinson State.
