DSU linebacker Koch honored after big game

A 23-yard interception return for a touchdown, along with three tackles and and half a tackle for a loss against Jamestown earned DSU linebacker Steven Koch his first North Star Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week honor.

A 23-yard interception return for a touchdown, along with three tackles and and half a tackle for a loss against Jamestown earned DSU linebacker Steven Koch his first North Star Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week honor.

The junior from Buffalo, S.D., scored his touchdown in the third quarter to put the Blue Hawks up 41-0. It was the final cap of a dominant homecoming performance for Dickinson State, and was the second defensive touchdown of the day, the first being an interception return of 28 yards by safety Cain Boschee.
