Montana Tech transfer Jalen Coates signed to the Dickinson State men’s basketball team, according to a press release Wednesday.
The all-Frontier Conference selection was second in the conference in scoring at 18.9 points per game and steals at 1.97 per game.
Coates, from Sacramento, Calif., will have two years left of eligibility.
“Jalen is a tough competitive young man who was productive in a very competitive league this past season,” DSU head coach Justin Wetzel said in the release, “and I see him being productive in the strong North Star Athletic Association.”
