RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The Dickinson State volleyball team extended its win streak to 10 matches on Saturday night with a 25-12, 25-18, 25-17 Dakota Athletic Conference win over South Dakota Mines.
Courtnie Trustem had eight kills and three block assists for the Blue Hawks (16-11, 10-1 DAC).
"One of our goals this year was to get at least 10 conference wins," DSU head coach Ryan Platt said. "We've already hit that. ... Everything we get now is an added bonus."
Iva Cepic had six kills, Ruth Johnson and Crystal Franklin each had five and Karen Almeida and Jennifer Hartman had four kills apiece as the Blue Hawks continued to have balance on the front row.
"You can't really shut down on person," Platt said. Anyone on our team can go off on any night."
