DSU volleyball drops match to Presentation

ABERDEEN, S.D. -- The Dickinson State volleyball team dropped to 2-6 against North Star Athletic Association teams with a 3-1 loss to Presentation College (S.D.) on Tuesday.

ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Dickinson State volleyball team dropped to 2-6 against North Star Athletic Association teams with a 3-1 loss to Presentation College (S.D.) on Tuesday.

The Saints took the first set 25-18. The Blue Hawks battled back to win the second 25-22, but Presentation took over and won the next two, 25-15 and 25-21.

Sophomore Ellie Hanser and junior Kylie Hadley led the Blue Hawks offense with 14 and 10 kills, respectively.

Sophomore Kennedy Hildebrand and senior Shelby Gustafson led the team in blocks with three each.

Junior Alli Hert had a team-leading 24 digs, followed by Hadley who added 20. Sophomore setter Keera Stookey led the Blue Hawks with 25 assists and also put up 14 digs.

Presentation was led by junior Olivia Stet who contributed 14 kills, one block and four aces.
