Dickinson State sophomore Abigail Brooks was named the North Star Athletic Association Softball Pitcher of the Week, according to a news release Monday.
Brooks, from Rocklin, Calif., went 2-0 this weekend as the Blue Hawks went 3-1 on the road at Presentation (S.D.) College. In three appearances, she gave up four runs (two unearned) on 19 hits with 19 strikeouts in 23 2/3 innings. Her ERA for the week was 0.59. She also earned a save during the weekend.
