CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — No. 2-ranked North Dakota State scored a 23-20 victory against Northern Iowa on Saturday, April 10, in the Missouri Valley Football Conference play at the UNI-Dome.

The Bison (6-1, 5-1 MVFC) have won four consecutive games heading in the final game of the regular season, a showdown against South Dakota State on Saturday, April 17, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.

NDSU can earn the league's automatic bid for the FCS playoffs with a victory against the Jackrabbits. The Bison and Missouri State are tied for first place in the conference with 5-1 marks with SDSU and UND a half game back at 4-1. UND plays at Youngstown State next weekend, while Missouri State had its game against Illinois State canceled.

NDSU had victories against Missouri State and UND earlier this season.
