JAMESTOWN - Dickinson High’s gymnastics team finished ahead of the pack yet again, taking first in the Blue Jay Invite Friday.
The Midgets placed first with 144.2 team points. Jamestown took second with 140.15, and Minot placed third with 137.425.
“It was a difficult meet for us, generally, coming back from the break, but we finished strong,” head coach Kent Van Ells said.
Senior Acacia Fossum took first in the all-around with 37.925 points after standout performances on the uneven bars and the floor routine. Classmate Keana Kudrna placed second in the all-around (26.925 points), buoyed by placing first on the vault and second on the floor and bars.
