KILLDEER -- Chaston Lee ran for 141 yards and a touchdown to guide the Cowboys (1-1) to a pivotal Class A, Region 4 victory over Grant County-Flasher (1-1) on Friday night.
Storm quarterback Kalin Bachmeier had a 4-yard run in the second quarter to give the Storm a lead. Matt Cummins ran in a successful two-point conversion.
Chaston Lee scored from 9 yards out in the second quarter and Brodie Candrian provided the winning run, punching in from 2 yards out in the third quarter.
The Storm were led by Cummins, who had 10 carries for 78 yards.

UNDERWOOD -- All-state running back Grant Singer rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns to lead Central McLean to a shutout win over Beach in a Region 6 9-man game.
Singer had a 17-yard TD run in the second quarter -- the only points of the first half -- and added a 45-yarder to seal the win in the fourth quarter.
Central McLean quarterback Matt Landenberger found Ben Duben for a 72-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

WASHBURN -- Jeff Rasmussen threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more to lead Washburn to a victory over Richardton-Taylor-Hebron, its first win of the season.
Rasmussen opened the first quarter with a 15-yard TD pass to Weston Dietz and added a 22-yarder to Monty Johnson before finding paydirt on a 5-yard run to give the Cardinals a 20-0 lead in the Region 6 9-man game.
Adam Woroniecki kept the Raiders alive, rushing for three touchdowns (25, 5 and 2).
R-T-H cut Washburn's lead to 26-24 after Woroniecki's 2-yard TD run in the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals piled it on from there with a Rasmussen 33-yard TD run, a 15-yard TD run by Mitch Wachendorf and Justin Petersen's 75-yard interception return for a touchdown.
