BOULDER CITY, Nev. - University of North Dakota's Ashlyn Guggisberg, playing in a the Jackrabbit Invitational near Las Vegas, walked away with a pair of aces earlier this week.

That's some way to beat the odds.

The sophomore from Glenwood, Minn., had two holes-in-one, her first coming on her second hole of the tournament at Boulder Creek Golf Club on Monday and her second on Tuesday.

Guggisberg aced the 169-yard 13th hole then followed it up with a 142-yard hole-in-one on the No. 8 the next day. They were the first aces of her career.

She shot 89 in the opening round Monday but her next hole-in-one helped her to shoot 79 in the second round. She finished the three-round tournament in 40th place at 30-over 246.

UND, paced by Jenna Janu's 26-over total (T-31), finished 11th in the tournament.
