Grayson named Conference softball athlete of the week

Freshman catcher Brianna Grayson is the second Dickinson State softball player in consecutive weeks to be given a Frontier Conference honor. Grayson was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Player of the Week.
Grayson helped the Blue Hawks finish 3-3 during its weekend doubleheaders, including two double-digit victories over Presentation College (S.D.) on Sunday.
Grayson batted .474 with a .842 slugging percentage and in 19 at-bats has recorded nine hits, five runs, two doubles, a triple and home run.
Last week junior pitcher Janell LaRont was given Frontier Conference softball pitcher of the week honors.
