GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The No. 13-ranked Dickinson State wrestling team saved one of its best opponents for last.
In its regular-season finale, DSU traveled to No. 3 University of Great Falls (Mont.) and the Argos swept the Blue Hawks 44-0 on Thursday.
Great Falls finished with five straight pins and a technical fall at 174 pounds. In the remaining matches, DSU lost in close decisions by one or two points. Taylor Vaughn defeated Jon Solano 5-4 at 184 pounsd, Sam Voigtlaender topped Jonathan Morales 4-2 and at heavyweight Dylan Lemery edged Meyer Bohn 2-1.
DSU has a week to prepare for itd regional tournament which starts Feb. 21 in York, Neb.
