Braxton Henningsen of Butte, Mont., signed to the Dickinson State wrestling and baseball programs, according to a press release Tuesday.
Henningsen, a senior at Butte High, finished third in the state 2A wrestling meet at 132 pounds and is coached by Cory Johnston, an NAIA all-American for the Blue Hawks in 2008.
“I chose DSU because I really connected with the coaches and think Dickinson State will be a great opportunity for me in my future,” Henningsen said in the release.
Henningsen plays infield in baseball.
“Braxton is an outstanding athlete,” said DSU head baseball coach Jason Watson in the release. “He has a great work ethic and has the ability to be a two-sport athlete in college.”
