Hutzenbiler named MVP in Belle Fourche

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. --Though the Dickinson High wrestling team didn't win the team title at the Belle Fourche Tournament, the Midgets didn't go home empty handed.

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. -Though the Dickinson High wrestling team didn’t win the team title at the Belle Fourche Tournament, the Midgets didn’t go home empty handed.
Austin Hutzenbiler was crowned the champion at 126 pounds and was named the tournament MVP on Saturday.
However, Hutzenbiler wasn’t the only individual champion for Dickinson. Dillon Clark claimed the individual title at 160 pounds.
Dickinson finished in third place with 194 points. Bismarck Century won the tournament with 273 points, while Sturgis (S.D.) placed runner-up with 222.5. There were a total of 18 teams at the tournament.
The Midgets finished with a total of 10 placers. Jaret Lee (138), Clayton Tangen (152) and Justin Meyer (195) all placed third in their respective weight classes. Tom Irwin (145) and Dual Keck (heavyweight) each took fourth, while Tod Irwin (120) and Raphael Lopez (170) ended in fifth. Lucas Kubas (195) rounded out the placers in sixth.
