Jacobson throws 3 TDs in Cougars win

BELFIELD -- Heart River jumped on Garrison-Max early on Friday thanks to two touchdowns from Trace Jacobson to Zane Besler, and the Cougars rolled from there to a 36-12 victory.

BELFIELD - Heart River jumped on Garrison-Max early on Friday thanks to two touchdowns from Trace Jacobson to Zane Besler, and the Cougars rolled from there to a 36-12 victory.

Tristen Schuhrke also hauled in a touchdown from Jacobson, who finished 7 of 13 passing for 181 yards.

Dion Madler added a fumble return for a touchdown for the Cougars, and he scored a 60-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Heart River improved to 2-5 overall and 2-2 in Class 1A’s Region 4.
