JAMESTOWN — After the two-day UJ Invitational, the Dickinson State men’s and women’s golf teams finished in sixth place and fourth place, respectively, on Monday at the Jamestown Country Club.

JAMESTOWN - After the two-day UJ Invitational, the Dickinson State men’s and women’s golf teams finished in sixth place and fourth place, respectively, on Monday at the Jamestown Country Club.
Paul Brannan and former Heart River standout Zach Miller each shot a 160 and finished the highest for the Blue Hawks in 18th place. Austin Harper tied for 22nd at 161, while Benji Crippen posted a 168, Nate Easton (178), Bryan Ordahl (179) and Parker Robinson (184).
Michael Strain from University of Jamestown finished in the top spot after shooting a 144 for the weekend.
The Jimmies won the event for both the men and women and finished with team scores of 591 and 644.
For the women, Dickinson Trinity graduate and Jamestown freshman Rachel Jahner won the invitational after shooting a 155. DSU’s top finisher was Danielle O’Donnell in 13th (192). Alyssa Hildebrand and Laura Duppong came in 17th and 18th and shot a 202 and 205, respectively. Casey Pearson rounded out the Blue Hawks in 21st with a 249.
