Killdeer blanks Hazen in finale

KILLDEER - Cole Dukart and Michael Moreno each scored two rushing touchdowns in the Cowboy’s 35-0 shutout of Hazen on Friday night.

Moreno kicked things off with two touchdowns in the second quarter with rushes of 1 and 5 yards. Dukart followed both with a two-point conversion run.

Garrett LeMieux struck next, catching a 17-yard pass from quarterback Dylan Tabor in the third quarter. Tabor threw 67 yards and completed 5-of-13 passes with one interception.

Bison quarterback Peyton Leintz also threw one interception, completed 5-of-24 pass attempts and totaled 29 yards in the air.

Dukart finished off the scoring with rushing touchdowns of 2 and 5 yards in the third quarter, ending the night with 97 yards over 16 carries.

Hazen running back Brandon Snyder ran 21 yards over 11 attempts.

Killdeer is now 6-2 overall and 5-2 in region play while Hazen drops to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the region.
