KILLDEER - Winning all their battles by way of fall or major decision, Killdeer wrestling defeated Dickinson 44-6 during a Triangular at Killdeer on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
In a night that featured five open slots for both teams, Dickinson gave less-experienced wrestlers a go at the mat.
Four Cowboys won with a pin: 182-pound Levi Rychner over Jarrid Kostelecky, 285-pound Curtis Hall over Logan Greenwood, 152-pound Ashton Frei over Zach Booth and 113-pound Cody Simmons who fell Draven Watts in two minutes and 21 seconds, the fastest fall of the night.
At 160 pounds, Zach Anderson defeated Jaxin Torgerson with an 11-0 major decision and in the 106-pound bout, Gus Bombach won over Benett Carlson with an 11-2 major decision.
Cullen Murphy took the sole Midgets victory by pinning Dayne Fredericks in 3:36.
