ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Dickinson State women’s basketball team held a 10-point halftime and never let go.
Megan Klein, Alyssa Hildebrand and Hailee Farstveet combined for 48 points to lead the Blue Hawks past Presentation College during a North Star Athletic Association game on Wednesday.
DSU was powered by Klein with 20 points and 16 rebounds. The Blue Hawks sophomore went 9 of 17 from the field. As a team, DSU went 29 of 64 (45 percent) from the field.
Hildebrand added 15 points on five 3-pointers, while Farstveet supplied 13 points, six rebounds and six assists.
The Blue Hawks dominated the board with a 41-24 advantage. Pattion Herbst grabbed eight rebounds and scored seven points.
Haley Froelich led Presentation with a game-high 23 points and three assists. Sydney Larson added 12 and Rachel Fuhrmann had 10 points and seven rebounds.
DSU continues its season traveling to NSAA opponent Dakota State (S.D.) at 3 p.m. Saturday.
